Greetings! I would like to take this opportunity, to thank you personally for viewing my web site! I hope I can be of some help for you or your family. Certainly I hope at least to have shed some light on the amazing world of Hypnotherapy and Hypnosis.

South African born, I have spent quite a number of years here in the UK. They say Africa will always be in your roots once you have lived there. For me, that's very true! Though I may not live there now, the idea of Africa as a vacation destination is very much a priority in life. We should all have strong morals or roots of some kind and direction. Its keeps us, sane and gives us our unique identities. I am also very fortunate to be blessed with a wonderful family. My Mother who has a strength like no-other, is quick witted and wise. The caring Sister, who is out to save the world. And of course my Brother the thinker, the pillar of support to us all. Without my Brother's support and guidance, I certainly wouldn't be the man I am today. I dedicate this site to my Family.

Hypnosis has fascinated me for many a year. Since I was a child, the mere thought of such a thing being capable, was just simple amazing to me. At first It was the Stage Hypnotist that caught my eye. But thanks to my sister, she steered me into the direction of Clinical Hypnosis. She is a very good and qualified counsellor, regularly used by the British Social Workers.   She had the idea to incorporate Hypnosis into her Therapy when required. Once I found out through her how to obtain such a qualification, I was hooked! The rest as they say, is history.

-Stage Hypnotists I must admit, do not do the Clinical Therapists much good at all. It's because of them that the majority of people are sceptics regarding Hypnosis. People dancing around performing weird and amusing acts, are what adds to the fear of being Hypnotised. I'll have to agree with the majority and say that I personally would not like to be hypnotised, to be ridiculed at the expense of an audience.   However, I would not hesitate to have myself Hypnotised by a true professional for Therapy, Relaxation or Motivation etc. It is truly a wonderful experience being Hypnotised. I now use it on myself (Self-Hypnosis), quite regularly for sleep and relaxation.

I have a Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy. Also I have membership with the Professional Board of Hypnotherapy Inc. and a lifetime membership to The Association of Ethical & Professional Hypnotherapists.      (M.A.E.P.H)
